Question 2: Who is missing out on Bute? What is missing from our cultural life that other places have?

Host Tip: Encourage people to think about specific groups (e.g., teenagers, the elderly, winter residents and specific activities or facilities that the island lacks .


Question 3: If we win the UK Town of Culture for 2028, what is your most ambitious idea for an event or project?

Host Tip: Encourage everyone to think big. No idea is too wild or too difficult at this stage


Question 4: How can this bid leave a lasting benefit after 2028? What could be different on the island by 2030?

Host Tip: Guide them to think about what’s possibilie, new skills, economic resilience, and opportunities that will help people stay, return, or build a future on Bute.


Question 5: What role could you, your group, or your business play in making Bute 2028 a success?

Host Tip: Move people from being passive consultees to active partners. Do they have a venue? Can they volunteer? Do they have a specific skill to offer?
